Pegasus.

25 years old. 180 cm (human version)

—————

Cloud was born to an ordinary family of two Pegasi. Both parents were involved in weather control—dispersing clouds, summoning rain, and the like. Sometimes they volunteered and helped evacuate ponies from dangerous areas. A standard trade for her species, nothing special.
She was an only child, so her parents paid a lot of attention to her. Her mother taught her how to fly and how to read the weather. Her father, meanwhile, focused on developing his daughter's creative and cognitive abilities—teaching her to draw, sculpt, and see the world in a unique way. Cloud loved her parents dearly and was incredibly attached to them.
The filly was incredibly friendly and active, so besides her parents, she had many friends, two of whom she maintained lifelong friendships with—Storm Mind and Frizzle Eddy. She still communicates with them often, trying to spend as much time as possible, but sometimes she can't due to work and personal difficulties.

When Cloud was seven, her parents died in a tornado along with a group of other pegasi who were trying to evacuate a small earth pony settlement. Cloud still vividly remembers that day and how her parents vanished into the black clouds, never to return. The earth ponies were saved, but no one will ever bring that evacuation group back. From that day on, Cloud stopped flying. She developed a fear of heights and flying in general.

For a time, Cloud wandered from orphanages to foster homes. No one wanted to take in such a grown foal, even though she was incredibly talented and affectionate—she literally gravitated toward anyone who showed her the slightest sign of kindness and attention. She was terribly lonely. Friends, of course, sometimes visited her secretly, but it wasn't enough to fill the hole left in the pegasus's soul by her parents' deaths. She was terribly envious of Storm and especially Frizzle. After all, their parents were alive... They could hug them, comfort them, talk to them. Just be there. Cloud, however, no longer had that opportunity.
Ultimately, Cloud stayed at the orphanage until she came of age. Immediately afterward, she was able to enroll in college to become a teacher, graduating with honors. And almost immediately, she returned to the orphanage... this time as a teacher.

Cloud still works as a nanny and creative director at an orphanage. She hopes that the foals around her don't experience the melancholy that is so common among orphans. She instills in her charges—whom the pegasus considers her own children—what her own parents instilled in her: an unconventional view of the world, the ability to think creatively, and never despair.
Cloud loves drawing. It's her main hobby, which she's managed to incorporate into her full-time job.
Cloud has mastered her wings, but not like ordinary pegasi—she uses them as hands. She picks up objects, even heavy ones, moves a brush across a canvas, smooths out wet clay. She'll never return to the sky, but she doesn't need to. Her wings have become a tool for something more creative than mere flight.

Cloud is superstitious and believes in omens, especially weather ones. She can cancel entire plans if she sees excessively black and heavy clouds in the sky or a strong wind picking up. No one and nothing can convince her that an ordinary downpour won't turn into a weather disaster. She'd rather sit at home for 10-20 minutes than get caught in a hurricane.

Cloud is very active—at times even hyperactive. She's talkative, emotional, and extremely sensitive. All of this is the result of being raised in a shelter and the fact that no one wanted to take in the passive foal she had been for so long.
Over time, these new characteristics became a fully-fledged part of her personality, so that pretending to attract love became a very tangible reality.
